The Rapture Part V

The Third view of the rapture that we will be looking at is the Mid-Tribulation Rapture Theory.

This view believes that the rapture takes place in the middle of the Tribulation period. In revelation 11 we see the two witnesses.

Revelation 11:3-6 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

As we can see, they cannot be stopped during this time.

Revelation 11:7-10 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodiesshall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

When their time is up, they are killed , and those on the earth will rejoice over it it. But then.

Revelation 11:11-12 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

They say that the two witnesses represent the church and when a voice from heaven, says unto them, come up hither they say that this is the church being raptured. There is absolutely zero evidence in the Bible of the two witnesses being the church.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.

They also believe like the Pre-Wrath viewers that God’s wrath does not start until the second half of the Tribulation, and that is when Christians are delivered from the wrath of God. Remember, the whole tribulation speaks of God’s wrath through the judgments that are poured out through the Seals, the Trumpets, and the Vials.

As we can see, there is absolutely no proof of a Mid-Tribulation Rapture.

Remember, if you have never put your trust in Christ, when the rapture does happen, then you will be left behind. But guess what, God the Father sent His Son to die on the cross, to take your place, to appease God’s wrath for your sins. If you have never put your trust in Christ, do not wait, do it today. If you do not understand what this means, contact me or Heritage Baptist Church of Haslet, Texas and we can show you how that you can know for sure that when you die that you are going to heaven.

Christian, let us keep on keeping on. As the song says, will work till Jesus comes. Are you working for Jesus today, if not then get busy about the Fathers business, winning souls.

Stay tune for the rapture part VI.
